Natalie Okerson-Sparks graduated with her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from Oakland University in Rochester, MI and Doctor of Medicine from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. Her family medicine residency training was through Bon Secours Hospital in Grosse Pointe, MI where she joined the faculty for a number of years after graduation. She currently practices in the rural community of Kalkaska, approximately 30 minutes outside of Traverse City. She has a passion for food, cooking and health, and hopes to bring to her readers the message of how integral our diet is to our health through her book “Vitamin V - A guide to introducing variety into your child’s diet (and your own).”
